  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Combine pancake mix milk and egg; set aside.
  3. In a 10-inch pie plate (in oven) melt butter and remove from heat.
  4. Spoon chocolate chips in bottom of pie plate.
  5. Carefully pour batter on top.
  6. Bake 18 minutes or until top springs back when tapped.
  7. Loosen edges and invert onto serving plate.
  8. Cut into wedges and serve with maple syrup.
